For over thirty-seven years, Larry Kaseberg’s Wheatacres Irrigation has been a part of the Mid-Columbia community, providing irrigation, spray and pond equipment, expertise, advice and great customer service. During those thirty-seven years, Larry has been at the helm, guiding the store through several moves and amazing growth, working with sons Christopher and Cameron. Larry retired in the fall of 2006, changing the face of Wheatacres and leading to the closure of the store on September 29, 2007. Wheatacres is closed! Everyone in the family is healthy. The business was not sold to a local competitor or a national wholesaler. If you are seeking irrigation and pond supplies please consult the yellow pages, talk to friends and neighbors or search the Internet. There are a number of businesses who have expressed interest in creating a presence in The Dalles that will supply similar products, so watch for those changes.
